
These entirely Vegan donuts are the perfect indulgent treat!

TIME: 1 hour including baking and cooling times
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE DONUTS-
– 1 cup of Medjool dates
– 3/4 cup plant based mylk
– 1/2 cup peanut butter
– 1/2 cup cocoa powder
– 1/2 tsp baking soda
– Pinch of salt
FOR THE CHOCOLATE GLAZE –
– 1 bar Superfoodio Smooth Peanut Butter Chocolate
– 1 tbsp maple syrup
– Crushed peanuts for topping
METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
2. In a food processor blend the Medjool dates, mylk and peanut butter together
3. Transfer to a bowl and add cocoa powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix together until combined
4. Spoon into a silicone donut mould
5. Bake for 14 – 16 minutes. Take out the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes
6. Once cooled, place the donuts onto a cooling rack and allow to cool for a further 15 minutes
7. Whilst the donuts are cooling, using the double boiler method, melt 1 bar of Superfoodio Smooth Peanut Butter Chocolate with the maple syrup
8. Once melted take off the heat and dip each donut into the chocolate to cover the surface evenly
9. Top with crushed peanuts and allow to set
